Every Child Deserves to Learn and Grow
We believe education is a right—not a privilege. Whether a child is already enrolled in a school or is currently out of education, we take structured, proactive steps to ensure they are supported academically and emotionally:
Maintaining Educational Placements
We work closely with existing schools, transport providers, and local authorities to ensure continuity in learning and pastoral care.
For Children Not in School
We implement a daily structured routine that includes:
- 1:1 tutoring (in-person or online)
- E-learning platforms such as IXL
- Personalised daily learning plans
- Life skills sessions (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene)
- Physical education activities
- Educational trips to museums, libraries, and more
Securing New School Placements
In collaboration with social workers, virtual schools, and the SEND team, we help secure ‘Good’ or better Ofsted-rated schools as swiftly as possible.
Ongoing Monitoring
We conduct weekly keyworker reviews, monthly reports, and maintain regular contact with education professionals to ensure progress and adjust support.
Therapeutic and Emotional Well-being
While Paradise Care does not offer direct clinical therapy, we provide a therapeutically-informed environment rooted in proven frameworks including:
- PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)s
- Secure Base Model
- THRIVE Framework
These approaches enable our team to respond empathetically to trauma-related behaviours, creating a foundation for healing and personal development.
We also coordinate with CAMHS and other external therapy services to ensure every child’s psychological needs are met in alignment with their care plans. Additionally, we offer in-home emotional support groups where appropriate, with the approval of the placing authority.

Whether it’s cooking a meal, learning to budget, exploring the outdoors, or engaging in the arts, we encourage children to express themselves, grow their talents, and build meaningful memories.
Staff-to-Child Ratio: Individualised Attention
We maintain a 1:1 staff-to-child ratio, ensuring each young person receives dedicated, personalised care at all times. This allows for safe, trusting relationships to form and enables staff to respond flexibly and compassionately to the unique needs and stories of each child.
Safeguarding: Safety First, Always
Paradise Care is committed to protecting every child in our care. Our team undergoes extensive safeguarding training, and we adopt a contextual safeguarding approach to address potential risks both inside and outside the home—whether in peer relationships, the community, or online spaces
